I remember the opening sequence to the sci-fi series “The Outer Limits” where there is a house whose basement turns into the roots of a tree that descend into an abyss. Its a very interesting image, and when i saw this room of pale blue light with its windows of blazing white, i couldn’t help but imagine myself in that house looking out onto a washed out world of pure white. Or maybe the house is inside of a person, and looking outside of the windows would be like seeing through their eyes. Howe6ver you look at it, these particular windows do more than look outside, this i assure you of.

The lovely view outside of my window.

A TtV of a sculpture near the art museum. The other guys had no idea what i was doing with two cameras at once, it was nice to know i was doing something that was new to them because im usually the one learning from everyone else. Suffice it to say, i love TtV.

I have always been fascinated with windows, the peeling paint, the raw texture and power of an old glass structure. How many people have looked out of this window, what have they witnessed?

PA State Capital Building in Harrisburg.

Aircraft Guide-light Tower just outside of Harrisburg. Quite a climb to get to this one at just about midnight. The sky is illuminated by light pollution from the nearby city.

The iconic phallic structure upon which all students at Drexel University direct their hatred. Representative of the administration, of course.

A random walk around a Philadelphia neighborhood, some very old houses here. Thought these panes looked like they had history.

Philadelphia’s old pride and joy in the category of mirrored facade, slowly being replaced by the building it reflects.
